Group
Trips
All of our programs are offered to groups of children, who due to their
physical, cultural, or financial barriers would not otherwise have access
to outdoor recreation and environmental education. And our program staff
is customized each trip to best fit the needs our your group. Although
all our programs are focused in the three areas of education, recreation
and the environment, there is so much more that can be offered. What
is it that your group hopes to gain or achieve in our program(s)?
Public School: increase socialization, motivate disinterested learners,
provide positive reinforcer for deserving students, reduce maladaptive
behavior, embrace environmental education, develop a stronger student-teacher
relationship
Private School: increase socialization, motivate disinterested learners,
provide positive reinforcer for deserving students, reduce maladaptive
behavior, embrace environmental education, develop a stronger student-teacher
relationship
Special Education Class: promote inclusion (IDEA 97), increase self
esteem, reduce maladaptive behavior, provide positive reinforcer for
deserving students, provide an opportunity for successful and fun recreation
to the disabled with adaptations, develop a stronger student-teacher
relationship
Science Class: create environment for powerful learning, increase practical
application to science concepts, develop a stronger student-teacher relationship,
provide positive reinforcer for deserving students, embrace environmental
education
ESL Class: increase language acquisition, encourage promote inclusion,
develop a stronger student-teacher relationship, provide positive reinforcer
for deserving students, reduce maladaptive behavior, embrace environmental
education, increase self esteem
Outdoor or Nature Club: experience wilderness, provide positive reinforcer
for deserving members, embrace environmental education, increase recreational
proficiencies and safety
Environmental Club: instill environmental stewardship, apply practical
environmental principles, understand Washington’s high priority
environmental concerns
Interact Club: embrace environmental education, establish a goal to
encourage enrollment and fundraising activities
Sports Team: celebrate a team victory, offer a team building opportunity,
embrace environmental education
Boy Scout Troop: embrace environmental education, increase recreational
proficiencies and safety, earn new merit badges, experience wilderness
Foster Home: get out of the house, reduce maladaptive behavior, create
positive memories and bonding experiences
Children’s Hospital: get out of the hospital, provide positive
reinforcer for deserving patients, develop trusting relationships with
patient
Therapy Clinic: provide positive reinforcer for deserving patients,
improve patient-therapist relationships
